This is Redfern Legal Centre's submission to the NSW Department of Justice's Review of Police Oversight. A view is provided on the effectiveness of the system of police oversight (comprised of the NSW Police Force, Policy Integrity Commission and the NSW Ombudsman) as well as recommendations for reform of the system.
