This document contains an order issued by command of Governor Macquarie (fifth Governor of the colony of New South Wales) admonishing attacks by colonists against Aboriginal people for stealing maize, and warning that any breach of 'British laws' by either group would be punished.This is the order as published in the Sydney Gazette and New South Wales Advertiser on 18 June 1814.
