This article describes how Stolen Generations survivors have faced numerous barriers when seeking compensation through the courts. Some of these barriers have been: statute of limitations, legal costs, difficulty accessing historical records, unavailability of witnesses, the traumatic nature of court proceedings, and people's fading memories.
